FREE CPD Course with PCNR

News

As you know, revalidation requires all nurses to show evidence of continuing professional development (CPD). However, we know that in most organisations, CPD and training has been reduced in order to save money.

So what do you do?

We are delighted to announce that PCNR has secured funding from the Department of Health to offer one lucky nurse reader a CPD course, completely free of charge!

In fact, as part of the funding agreement we even pay you an honorarium, which is s a modest fee you receive for your skills.

Although this is not a large sum please note that we do not take tax or NI at source, so you may need to declare this to HMRC in accordance with your personal tax arrangements.

The year-long course will introduce you to writing for publications, the publication process and afford you the opportunity to edit a section of PCNR!

At the end of the course, you will have gained experience in commissioning, editing, writing and have an understanding of how to prepare and submit papers to nursing journals for publication.

If you are interested in developing this new skill and would like to apply, please drop me a line:

deborah@pcnr.co.uk

Please include a few sentences outlining why you would like to take this course and add a contact number and a time when it may be best to call.

If we have overwhelming demand, we will enter all applicants into a draw and select one name at random.

Entries must be received by the 9th September.

I look forward to hearing from you shortly

Best wishes,

Deborah Glover.
